Samsung Galaxy S9 gets one last surprise update on its way to smartphone heaven
- One last surprise Samsung Galaxy S9 update just landed.
- It brings the March 2022 security patch.
- This should be the last update the phone receives.
Earlier this month, Samsung moved the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus to end-of-life status. This meant the most recent update for these devices was their last.
However, today, we see that a new Samsung Galaxy S9 update is rolling out (via Droid-Life). So far, this update appears to be just for the Verizon-branded models. It should eventually make its way around the world, though.
