Gemini’s Android app can now do all your research homework for you (Update: Widely available)

Google has reportedly brought its Deep Research tool to the Gemini app on Android.
This tool, which was previously restricted to the web, allows Gemini to create detailed reports on your behalf.
This also comes a few days after OpenAI launched its own deep research feature.

Update: February 18, 2025 (1:23 PM ET): Google has announced that Deep Research is now widely available in the Gemini mobile app for all Gemini Advanced users on both Android and iOS.
